Performance



3.7-Liter VVEL V6 Engine:
The 3.7-liter V6 engine unleashes a class-leading 330 hp and features VVEL technology that continually tunes valve lift and timing for quicker response and broader torque curve, even while improving fuel economy and emissions.  Acceleration and passing power made effortless.

Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD):
Infiniti's Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) provides power where and when you need it, instantly adapting to changing conditions.  By constantly monitoring wheelspin, throttle position and vehicle speed, this system automatically diverts up to 50% of the available power to the front wheels, enhancing traction and control in adverse conditions.  When all-wheel drive is not needed, the system sends 100% of the power to the rear wheels for more responsive road performance.

Performance Brakes:
The unique collaboration of Infiniti designers and engineers created the G Coupe's massive 14-inch front rotors and sculpted 4-piston front calipers that grab faster and with more finite control than a sliding caliper design.  Press the brake pedal and you'll feel their precise feedback and gain a greater sense of power and control.

Transmission:
With the 7-speed automatic transmission, the more gears means you always have the optimum selection for quick and responsive acceleration.  And the high 7th gear allows lower-rpm cruising for greater fuel efficiency.  Shift through all seven smoothly and seamlessly in automatic mode, or switch into manual with Downshift Rev Matching and use the available solid-magnesium paddle shifters for a more hands-on connection.  Or opt for the 6-speed manual transmission and take direct control for maximum performance.



Interior



Interior Atmosphere:
From the electroluminescent glow of the gauges and knobs, to the designed feel of every switch and button, the interior unifies elegant, functional design with handcrafted details.  Comfort with innovation.  Artistry with precision.

            

Sport Seat:
The driver-side sport seat helps create an environment of comfort and connection.  Standard 10-way power adjustments with available memory functions that adjust automatically the moment you start the car.  Power torso and thigh bolsters along with a thigh extension that you can fine-tune for performance driving.  Rich materials add tactile warmth in order to make your connection to the road as luxurious as it is exhilarating.

Cockpit Design:
A spacious interior, with the intimacy and intelligent design of a cockpit.  The gauges move in sync with the 3-spoke steering wheel when you adjust it, so they're always in clear view.  Seams on the leather steering wheel are stitched around the touch points of your grip, for a more comfortable feel and a stronger bond.  Controls are mounted on the wheel, positioned for instinctive use.

                 


Technology



Intelligent Cruise Control:
Your Infiniti transforms the reality of traffic with technology that will help effortlessly manage your speed and maintain your distance to the car ahead.  When traffic slows, Intelligent Cruise Control will automatically slow your vehicle to help maintain a safe distance, the resume your set cruising speed when traffic clears.

Infiniti Studio on Wheels by Bose:
The 11-speaker Infiniti Studio on Wheels by Bose was designed to help music retain its richly-authentic sound.  Infiniti engineers created the first manufacturer system that delivers the music's power from the front, with sound washing through the cabin from front to back, as in a live performance.  The system is enhanced by 10-inch subwoofers that the vehicle's front doors literally were designed around and a unique Driver's Audio Stage setting that optimizes the balance of sound to focus solely on the driver.

RearView Monitor:
Engage reverse and your vehicle information system displays images from a discreetly-mounted color camera on the rear of the vehicle.  Colored guidelines help give you an accurate sense of how close you are to objects behind, and they adjust as you turn, to show your path.  As an added measure, the optional Rear Sonar System emits a beeping tone and displays an icon on the RearView Monitor display when an obstacle appears near the rear bumper.

Hard Drive Navigation System:
The next-generation touch-screen Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System features Infiniti Voice Recognition and XM NavTraffic which includes Real-Time Traffic information.  The high-resolution screen supports Birdview perspective control and enhanced 3-D building graphics.  Together, these features enhance your journey and help you navigate while Lane Guidance indicates the correct lane to be in when approaching an interchange or exit.  You can also access Real-Time Weather updates and 3-day forecasts using XM NavWeather and browse the Zagat Survey Restaurant Guide with ratings and reviews.

          



Safety


Impact Protection:
Infiniti Advanced Air Bag System (AABS) provides dual-stage front supplemental air bags when sensors that adjust inflation rates depending on crash severity and seat belt usage.  Front seat-mounted side-impact supplemental air bags help provide additional protection for front occupants.  Roof-mounted curtain supplemental air bags deploy from the headliner above the windows, helping to give outbroard occupants enhanced head protection.  Front-seat Active Head Restraints help reduce whiplash-type injuries, seat belt pretensioners work to help protect occupants in the event of certain types of collision, and Zone Body construction helps maintain the integrity of the passenger compartment.  All are ways in which Infiniti technology helps to provide a more comfortable and safer driving experience.

Enhanced Control:
Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) helps correct oversteer or understeer by applying brake pressure to individual wheels and adjusting the engines power output.  The Traction Control System (TCS) helps enhance rear-wheel grip when accelerating by sensing wheelspin and automatically reducing engine output and/or braking the spinning wheel.

Advanced Braking:
Security.  Confidence.  The 4-wheel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) is enhanced by brake assist, which helps apply the maximum brake force you need to be able to help prevent collision.  The available Preview Braking function uses the Intelligent Cruise Control laser sensors to detect a rapidly-slowing vehicle ahead, then pre-pressurizes the braking system in anticipation of emergency braking.  And Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) helps improve braking performance by actively adjusting the amount of brake force applied to the rear wheels.
